Stephanie Hershaw (soprano) studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, the Hochschule für Musik und Theatre in Leipzig and the Royal College of Music in London, and was a member of the Young Artists Programme at the Landestheater in Detmold, where her roles included Najade (Ariadne auf Naxos), Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Romilda (Serse) and Kate Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly). She is currently a member of the ensemble at the Staatstheater in Oldenburg, singing Romilda, Ännchen (Der Freischütz), Gretel (Hänsel und Gretel) and the title role in The Cunning Little Vixen, and her other engagements include Barbarina (Le nozze di Figaro) for Garsington Opera and Lenio (Martinu’s The Greek Passion) for Danish National Opera.
