Marianne Crebassa (mezzo-soprano) studied musicology, voice and piano in her hometown of Montpellier before joining the Young Artist Programme at the Paris Opèra. She has an exclusive recording contract with Erato, with whom she has released three recital discs; ‘Oh Boy!’ led to her being named Artiste Lyrique de l’année at the 2017 Victoires de la Musique, while ‘Secrets’ received the Solo Vocal Award at the 2018 Gramophone Awards. Her opera engagements have included Cherubino (Le nozze di Figaro) at the Metropolitan Opera, New York, Dorabella (Cosi fan tutte) at the Vienna Staatsoper, Angelina (La cenerentola) at the Paris Opèra and La Scala, Milan, Mélisande (Pelléas et Mélisande) at the Berlin Staatsoper, and Cecilio (Lucio Silla) and Sesto (La clemenza di Tito) at the Salzburg Festival.
