Chelsea Zurflüh (soprano) was a member of the International Opera Studio in Zurich from 2021 to 2023, and her roles there included Barbarina (Le Nozze di Figaro), Zaida (Il Turco in Italia) and Atalanta (Serse). She has appeared in concert at the Tonhalle Zürich, the Vienna Konzerthaus and Musikverein, the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, the Concertgebouw Amsterdam and the Innsbruck Festival of Early Music, and her recording of the leading role in Vivaldi’s La fida ninfa was released by CPO in January 2025. Her numerous competition successes have included first prize at the 2024 Concours de Genève and the 2024 International Haydn Competition in Rohrau, and second prize at the 2023 International Mozart Competition in Salzburg and the 2022 International Cesti Competition in Innsbruck.
