Announcing our first two London concerts of the 2024-5 season

18 September 2024 – A celebration of Jommelli at Wigmore Hall

We are delighted to announce the first two of our London concerts for the 2024-25 season. On 18 September, we are joined by three leading young singers for a programme featuring arias and ensembles from Jommelli’s operas, to mark the 250th anniversary of the composer’s death. The three soloists are Associate Artists Emily Pogorelc (soprano) and Stuart Jackson (tenor), and – making her company debut – the exciting young French mezzo-soprano Ambroisine Bré (mezzo-soprano) .

21 October 2024 – Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro at Cadogan Hall

We return to Cadogan Hall with a concert performance of Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro (The Marriage of Figaro). This concert presentation – our first performance of the work for 13 years – will place Mozart’s scintillating score at the heart of the story-telling, with a winning combination of world-class young singers and vibrant period instruments bringing fresh insights and dramatic flair to this ultimate miracle of composition. Our line-up of soloists includes Antoin Herrera-López Kessel (Figaro), Ellie Laugharne (Susanna), Alexandra Lowe (Countess), James Atkinson (Count), Alessandro Fisher (Basilio/Curzio), and Trevor Eliot Bowes (Bartolo/Antonio).
