Masterclass with Marie McLaughlin

Distinguished soprano Marie McLaughlin has enjoyed more than four decades of performance at the highest international level, and is one of the leading Mozart interpreters of her generation. From an early stage in her career, she sang roles such as Susanna, Despina and Zerlina at leading venues such as The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, The Metropolitan Opera, New York, Opéra National de Paris and Salzburg and Glyndebourne festivals, working with conductors such as Leonard Bernstein, Bernard Haitink, Neville Marriner and Daniel Barenboim.
As part of The Mozartists’ widely acknowledged commitment to developing outstanding young artists, she is giving a masterclass in the charming surroundings of 22 Mansfield Street, in which she will be working with three highly promising young sopranos on arias from Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro, Die Zauberflöte and the ‘Great’ Mass in C minor.
