The Mozartists selected for support in the second round of the Government’s Culture Recovery Fund
The Mozartists have been awarded a grant of £45,754 from the Government’s £1.57 billion Culture Recovery Fund, announced on 2 April 2021.
This is part of over £300 million has been awarded to thousands of cultural organisations across the country in the latest round of support from the Culture Recovery Fund.
CEO Debbie Coates says:
“The Covid-19 pandemic has caused a massive blow to our industry, putting performance work on hold for over a year, and the impact on both our organisation and our talented freelance artists has been horrific. We are enormously grateful for this tremendous show of support, which will help us to return to sustainability, resume the presentation of world-class performances, and generate vital work for our artists.”
Artistic director Ian Page says:
“We are deeply grateful for this grant, which provides a vital step in securing our survival and enabling us to return to live performances.
