Isabelle Haile (soprano) began her musical studies as a member of the ‘Voices of Spring’ youth choir in Moldova, and continued her studies at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome and the Royal Academy of Music in London. As a specialist in early and baroque music, she performs with ensembles such as the Sarum Consort, Sonoro, Eboracum Baroque and the Lerion Consort, and in 2021 she made her début at the Brighton Festival in Couperin’s Leçons de Ténèbres. Recent engagements have included Second Woman (Dido and Aeneas) for Hampstead Garden Opera and her début at the Zurich Opera House in George Benjamin’s Lessons in Love and Violence. She was awarded the Audience Prize and joint Second Prize at the 2024 Handel Singing Competition.
