Cora Burggraaf graduated from the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague before continuing her studies in London at the Royal College of Music and the National Opera Studio. She appears on The Mozartists’ recording of Die Schuldigkeit des ersten Gebots and on ‘The A-Z of Mozart Opera’. Opera roles include Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro) for San Francisco Opera, Zerlina (Don Giovanni) for Netherlands Opera, Bella in Tippett’s Midsummer Marriage for the Royal Opera House and Stéphano in Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette in the Salzburg Festival and Teatro alla Scala in Milan. Cora has appeared as a recitalist at venues such as Wigmore Hall, and has received prizes including the 2009 VSCD New Generation Award, the 2009/10 ECHO Rising Star Award, and the Elizabeth Everts Prize 2006.
