Camilla Harris (soprano) studied at the opera school of the Royal Academy of Music, before which she was a student at the Royal College of Music. She graduated from RAM with the prestigious Regency Award for distinguished studentship at graduation, was awarded the Tom Hammond Opera Prize, Kendal Prize, and John McAslan Prize, and was a Bicentenary Scholar. She makes her debut with The Mozartists in La finta giardiniera in March 2025. Previous roles include Fiordiligi (Così fan Tutte) for Garsington Opera, Contessa (Le Nozze di Figaro) for Hampstead Garden Opera, Pamina (Die Zauberflöte), Helena (A Midsummer Night’s Dream) and La Comtesse (Chérubin) for Royal Academy Opera, and Suzanne (Robinson Crusoe) at The Royal College of Music. On the concert platform she has sung Beethoven Choral Fantasia with the Philharmonia Orchestra, Stravinsky’s Mass with the London Symphony Orchestra, Israelite Woman Esther with The London Handel Orchestra, and First Witch and Spirit in Dido & Aeneas with The English Concert.
