Ava Dodd (soprano) studied at the Royal Irish Academy of Music and the Royal College of Music. Her numerous awards include the Yves Paternot Award at the 2023 Verbier Festival and two prizes at the 2022 Hans Gabor Belvedere International Singing Competition. In 2024 she became an Associate Artist of The Mozartists and a Harewood Artist with English National Opera. During the 2022/23 season she was a member of the ensemble at the Stadttheater Klagenfurt, where her roles included Waldvögel (Siegfried) and Oscar (Un ballo in maschera), and other roles have included Fenimore in Weill’s Der Silbersee at the Opéra National de Lorraine, Tilburina in Stanford’s The Critic at the Wexford Festival, and Rosina (The Barber of Seville) and Adina (The Elixir of Love) for ENO.
